I may need the services of a VAT expert for some work I have coming up, and wonder if anyone can recommend a good VAT expert that they have actually used.

Many thanks.

Kevin Hall & 3pic give excellent posts and I have no doubt that they are even better when giving paid advice although I have never actually paid for their services.

I used a mid sized firm in Edinburgh to my lasting regret the last time. Charged us a fortune to tell me something I already knew and had the cheek to say they couldn't be certain...but I digress.

I vote against using 3pic purely because of his signature line ;)

You don't want your expert advice tainted with bad jokes!

Nicola,

I have sent you by PM the contact details for both myself and a very experienced chap I used to work with - whom I would regard as the VAT demi-God of the entire universe.

Thank you so much - I do really appreciate that but I have now already been in contact with Steve Kettle recommended by Elaine.
