I'm semi-retired and need to make a bit here and there; in the past I've written for fashion and travel publications, etc.
Will provide samples on request.

There are lots of people here who might use a writer, but I think you might write your pitch with a tad more oomph!

Thanks but I'm not an oomph sort of person; the past few years I've been doing mostly music research.
You can find some of my writings on SongFact.com
I used to spend a lot of time in archives but currently manage once or twice a month.

I had hoped for an intelligent answer; like many people I'm struggling at the moment; I also need to buy a new computer.

Apologies for not being as serious as you wanted. I felt that your answer to my first post was so insubstantial that you were probably not a gravitas sorta guy.
For instance where I suggested oomph you said your were not an oomph person. Stripped of the slang, oomph, I was suggesting you used your writing skills to forge a message that was a bit more appealing than a message that implies a part time, here and there, ho hum, uninterested approach. You came back with a 'I'm not a writing skills sort of person' message.
You also referenced a website, Songfact.com which on first glance had no trace of you but seemed to be a music site. So as part of lighthearted, late night banter I made a pun. It's what some people do with the written word; play, change, enjoy. I'm sorry it's too frivolous for you.
Good luck with your writing.

The site won't let me post urls but if you go to Google and key in my name with SongFacts you will find hundreds; alternatively go to the site, and do an artistsearch for Noel Coward, Barclay James Harvest, Singing Postman, Al Stewart, Bic Runga and my name will show us as the author.
A few of the more detailed songfacts are "Keep The Home Fires Burning", "Widdicombe Fair", "The Unquiet Grave" and Among My Souvenirs".
I can also e-mail you pdfs of some of my work from magazines going back to 1989.

I can't post urls for some reason but check out my main website infotextmanuscripts; it has a song section which I added fairly recently, and a poetry section which has been there for sometime.

Good evening
What sort of copy do you write? I'm looking for someone to pick up my overflow work; currently inundated! Wide range of subjects, but not music.
If interested please PM me with a brief rundown of what you do.
Thanks!
