Hi All
I'm finally finished with my book and am now looking for a publisher to take me through the next steps.
Any contacts or tips will be greatly appreciated.
With thanks
Ben

Hi Ben,
Take a look at www.newroadpublishing.com. I don't know of the US location will be a problem...
Good Luck!

Hi Ben,
Welcome to the forums. If you visit a good bookshop you should find a copy of The Writers' Artists' Yearbook. It costs about £13.99 and contains publishers' contact details and what you need to do about getting published- well worth the money. Good luck.

I have one, if you tell me which publisher you were thinking about, I can give you the details, a lot of books have to go through an agent first.
I had to order my book from WHSmiths, £12.99, excellent book.
Good Luck with your book,
Jayne :D

Hi Ben,
Many conventional publishers will only accept manuscripts from agents now, so if you want to go down that route it may be a good idea to think about approaching agents rather than going to publishers direct. The book Mumper recommends also lists agents, or if you'd prefer to go direct to publishers it will tell you which ones accept unsolicited manuscripts, and what their requirements are.
Self-publishing may also be an option if you're prepared to do the marketing of the book yourself.
