Help with pixels please

Hi,

I've been told to find some pictures of no more than 400 pixels. How do you know how many pixels a picture has?

Also, do you need to put a banner into a file, before you can put it onto your web site.

Is there a learn how to do this stuff web site please?

Hi,

right click the image and select "properties" it will tell you the size.
Most image manipulation software will resize images for you.

A banner is just an image such as the 3 on the left side and the one on the right side of these forums.

Banners are normally standard sizes. you can see them at http://www.webpencil.com/bannersizes.htm

Think i've got one..I used the blue bit on top to move around to make posters with...not 100% sure though :D
