How is Ad/Search Share derived?

For Search Share, the Search-based Keyword Tool analyzes logs data to find all the queries that matched your keyword criteria (keyword string and match type).

For Ad Share, the tool analyzes ad logs to determine how many times your ad was shown out of the total number of queries matching your keyword. Both these metrics are computed based on global statistics across all Google properties (google.com, google.co.uk, etc.).

Well it's search, because we don't have ads, So, for one of the terms it says 13% ad/search share? So that means for that particular search term i get 13% of .......?

13% of 100% :D

I would say 13% of potential traffic possibly (But not sure)
