Seems a bit vague!! Guess by the term 'packages' they under 2kg? Royal Mail probably best bet to start with, you can check out the prices for Airmail / Airsure etc , even pay & print out the postage labels & CN22's on their website.

This is an online bookable service, that I use quite often. http://www.p4d.co.uk/index.htm. (http://www.p4d.co.uk/index.htm)

If you are going to be sending more than just the odd package, then I would recommend opening an account with one of the major carriers as you will get a better deal.

If over 2kg you could also look at these, they use UPS.

Book online, print off the documentation & the UPS driver will just turn up and take it away.

Depends on the weight. Try Parcelforce www.parcelforce.com - cheap & cheerful (ish)

If it will be a regular thing then open an account with your prefered courier - this will give you a discount on shipping fees and will automate some of the process for you.

www.parcel2go.com (http://www.parcel2go.com) are pretty good, but if you are sending large volumes you will get better deals by going direct to carriers.
