Hi all,
My name is Rich Hampson and I run On Link Media, a website design company. I'm 16 and based in West Sussex and am fully registered as a self employed website designer, so please don't see me as a "bedroom designer".
After music college I hope to take a career as a professional bass guitar player but also design websites when I am not working in music.
I hope I can get to know some of you well and help out whenever I visit.
Thanks
Rich

Hi Rich,
Welcome to the forum :D You're never too young to earn money, I have notice a lot of younger business people on here, so will not be alone. Wish I was 16 again and know what I know now :D

Hi Rich,
Welcome to the site. Good to see someone so young doing such good work. Your site is looking good, I wish I started at your age. I'm sure you'll do very well.

Hello and welcome.
I also had a website design company, and hosting company, but because I was so young companies did not want to know :(
I did a lot of websites really cheap for people just to get my name out their but still most companies would not touch me.
But the local council wanted a website, Lol.
Good luck and I hope this does not happen to you, if you can do what I decided to do have a front man e.g. your dad.

Most companies don't really expect I'm quite young, they just seem to care about the qulity of the work, although as a freelancer some people won't touch me because of my age. Although if my dad answers my phone, they often mistake him for a colleague, thinking I am some big design agency, and are a bit suprised when I tellthem I work from home!
