Hi folks and thank you for visting my thread.
I run a couple of businesses thorughout Northern Ireland and went into this new venture last month. I named it My Local Voucher.
My local voucher was founded by me in May 2009.
I sat down and thought -
How could I beat the recession?
Easy! - Advertising!
But advertising in what way? There are many people out there that place ads in Newspapers : Forums : Delivered Business Cards.
But how long does this actually stick around for????:rolleyes:
Business cards get thrown away and Newspapers get recycled.
So then I thought. The public want to save money so I came up with the idea of a priviledge card.
The priviledge card will allow the general public to show this card and get what ever offer the business is having that week and beating the competition around them.
For example - How many bars are there in Belfast - Couple of hundred?
So what about if my local voucher presents the offer of just 2 bars in belfast selling pints on a Tuesday at £1.
Yes thats right - The public will go there to avail of that offer!
Here are a few points that might gover this -
Facts and Figures
We aim to go to print on the 22nd of July 2009 of over 20,000 PVC Cards
3,000 Cards will be handed out free within the first 2 weeks of July 2009
The cards will then be available for £1-99 in local retailers throughout the North Coast
Your business offer will be also available online at mylocalvoucher.co.uk as well as free advertising
Cards will be sold online at £1-79 with Paypal Payment Integration
Business will be advertised online with full business address
The Card will be attached to a full colour flyer announcing the business offer
The card and updated offers will be advertised every third week in the local newspapers
My local Voucher will be placed on public billboards
My local voucher will be advertised on local vehicles
Your are eligible to change your offer 3 times inside the 3 month period by contacting us
The card will also be advertised in all local towns by promotion teams every weekend
Your Business will be given up to 10 cards free to avail of all business offers
You will receive Official My Local Voucher Merchandise to promote that you are part of the Clan.
