Hi all

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good mannequin suppliers. I'm looking for female, headless, full body, flesh toned mannequins and without the joint lines showing, similar to these....

I was thinking of getting a hanging one because i need one that can have shoes on it, unless anyone knows of mannequins that can have shoes on them that aren't hanging???

Not quite sure where to go, but I would say that you get what you pay for. I bought a cheapo one off ebay, (£60,) and it's not really that good.

Spend a little more and you should get the right image.

if you ring the retail factory they got mine and I am happy with them. (google them)

A couple of things to consider that looks like a one piece, and if so I doubt you will be able to put jumpers t-shirts etc on it, as the reason they have joins is to make them dressable, the only thing that will go on that one is dresses you can pull up.

Also the higher qaulity ones you want the more you pay, and if it's a one piece the carrage to get it delivered might also be more expensive as it takes up more room.

Not sure why you are looking for a dummy without joint lines, but of course this is dependent on what you need them for? For a normal mannequin you need them to manoeuvre when you dress them or it would be very restricting. As far as shoes are concerned, is this what you are selling? and would this be best displayed on a full size mannequin? you can add shoes for effect to the look, but window dressers have advised me to buy cheap ones and drill them so that they fit, clearly not what you are looking for if this is what you are looking for to display them?

You cannot do worse than visit ebay. Cheap and cheerful and most are under a tenner.
