Hello everyone

I am new to this forum so I apologise if this has been covered, I did use the search function to try find relevant topics but I couldn't find anything to answer my question.

I have been looking at different types of social media and online marketing and can see the great potential it has for business, but I have a bit of a problem implementing it.

My Company provides due diligence checks and Money Laundering Regulation compliance systems and check to primarily High Value Dealers. As you can imagine locating this niche market online to provide them with helpful information and converse with them is a bit challenging.

I just wondered if any one had any useful tips or knowledge of any tools that would assist in making connections with relevant people online when you’re looking at connecting with a niche market. One main industry to start with that I am trying to connect with is the wholesale and cash and carry alcohol industry. I was mainly looking at trying to use Twitter and Linkedin to start so if anyone had anything specific to them it would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance to anyone who has handy tips.

Hi TheDDE,

Welcome to the forum.

Try taking a read through this thread on useful twitter tools (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=102829&highlight=twitter+tools) - some other ones in there that could be relevant too.

Cheers,

James
