The demand or popularity for this may have dwindled since the enactment of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. Audio files on the web can be inaccessible for some disabled people and possibly breaching the Act unless you are using audio files as an 'audio describer' for a particular section of the web.

I would seriously think about "podcasting" if you are looking to provide an audio presentation. It's the latest form of distribution and becoming very popular.

The issue mentioned in the previous post needn't be a hold point. Just make sure that the "message" that's in the audio presentation is also available in HTML / plain text form and accessible on the site.

That way, you have covered all your bases.
