Negative keyword lists

Hi all

Has anyone compiled/ created a good negative keyword list? If so would you please share it with us. This is a never ending task is seems and hence any help would be appreciated.

Most of our negatives were quite specific to each advert. For example, with performance appraisals (+appraisals), our list included -house -precious -antique -valuation etc.

We had to be a little more imaginative when running adverts for disciplinary and grievance info (+discipline), but I'd best leave those to your imagination!

Do you find you have a list of commonly useful negatives then?

Hi Stephen

Very much so i.e. Contact Foundry have clients across the UK but if someone types in telemarketing Company London then we would not want our add to be shown because we are located elsewhere.

Also phrase like advice, free, cheap, B2C to give just a few basic examples are also not good for us.

It’s making sure we have all the bases covered that creates the highest ROI and hence we are always updating these lists.

The lists for the other companies have a good overlap of over 50% ( a ruff guess) and hence any help in this area is very helpful.
