Hi!

I'm a MSc student in Business and IT from the University of Strathclyde and I have to perform a survey regarding open source ERP toward my dissertation. I need to collect answers from small and medium businesses that may consider their use.

If you're working in a business whose headcount is higer than 10 people and you have a interest in the company information system, please feel free to answer to this questionnaire, it will greatly help me!

It is roughly a dozen of question and takes hardly a minute to complete.

Thank you in advance, this will considerably help me in my dissertation!

Cedric.

I don't see any questionnaire. Is it available at surveymonkey?

Yes, the questionnaire is on surveymonkey. Has it been automatically removed? I amended my post because I forget to add the link.

I was a student once, so I'm going to welcome this aspiring business person by posting a link to the survey (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=iNF2CHOOS4kOiOB1_2bhAQLg_3d_3d). :)

What's an ERP?

Can you get them in Poundshop?

<edit>Just tried the survey and got bogged down in all the managment speak: "FLOSS ERP reduces the barrier associated with the lack of process-orientated management" WTF?</edit>

It is the least likely thing you can find in a poundshop! ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. That is a set of software that covers all the function of a business (accounting, finance, marketing, procurement, sales, etc..) and integrates them altogether so that everything is automated.

It is ok if you don't understand what it is all about. If you don't know what it is all about, then just pick N/A. I would also like to catch the general awareness of SMEs toward this type of software. Sorry for the lingo by the way, it is just that my work has to revolve around this type of statement (not really my cup of tea either...)

Thanks for your help anyway!
