Greetings to All!

I'd like to take a moment here to get on a soap box, and make my stand for a web based solutions provider called WebGreeter.com
for sometime, corporate website owners have have found it difficult to form a connection between their web visitors and themselves in fact studies have shown that 97% of the visitors leave a website within the span of a few minutes to, possibly, a competitor site.

For the past 3.5 years www.WebGreeter.com has helped several business owners improve their customer communications by providing live sales representatives who are trained on the philosophy of:
1) greet,
2) Listen,
3) connect with the customer and build a repport,
4) Help the visitors,
5) generate leads/sales.

WebGreeter.com has saved valuable time and money by having trained live representatives who had the experience to know when to throw a smily face during a conversation, and when to portray professionalism; and who had enough resources to handle traffic surges on a site. I highly recommend Webgreerter.com as must have service to really turn your `browser'

Hi Bill

Welcome to the forum!

I am impressed with your product and can see real advantages from having it but find it frustrating having to wait for the response to questions and wonder how quickly your operators pick up on buying signals and pass information back to clients?

I'm actually in a chat now and have been able to type this whole message whilst waiting.

I look forward to finding out more about webgreeter.

Welcome to the forums,

Whilst I have no problem in having a live chat, I would find it terribly annoying and consider it an invasion of my privacy to have someone popup in a new window and start chatting to me without an invitation.....

Grrr, whilst I was lookin at your site someone popped up to say hello and now the browser window that they popped up in has frozen (maybe because I tried to close it without saying anything...), meaning that I have to kill firefox in task manager which will result in the 14 other browser windows I have open being closed as well.......

Ta very much.......

hmm .. I will have to have my tech people look into this.. I am thinking that was probably caused due to Java. We are currently talking to Mozilla in order for us to get better robust java support for our chat application.

I still don't really like the idea of people initiating chats with me when I am browsing, I would be straight of to another site :D
