I haven't been getting my e-mails through for ~12 hours now. I also note my website is down, and also that the site of my original web designer (www.netsimage.com) is down too.
I think we're all hosted by neptunesix.com which also doesn't seem to get me anywhere...
Does anyone know anything about this? Should I change my hosting?

Quick check of the neptunesix website gives can't find the server at www.neptunesix.com
They've either got a technical problem with their server, or they've gone. I'd start making plans for a new hosting company

I hope you have a backup of your site.
Its quite common for hosts to vanish overnight especially US based providers.
neptunesix.com looks to be hosted on theplanet's network, looks like their DNS isn't giving any records for their own domain so not good, plus both name servers are set to the same physical server so it looks like they have no redundancy which itself is quite poor.

I've now paid for hosting elsewhere and changed the nameserver on 123-reg to point to it. Currently trying to figure out how to ftp all my files to the new host...I'm a bit of a noob!

If it's todo with the site in your signature, your host provides cPanel - Why not try the filemanager for uploading?

It is to do with that site, but I think the host has gone belly up, hence I can't get even onto the cPanel.
Got someone working on this so thanks for everyone's help, hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

try copying and pasting your content out of any google cached pages / wayback machine
not exactly ideal but might save you a bit of hassle.
dont forget to view source and copy that - its the full source code you really need.
