Hi Michael and welcome

I wholeheartedly agree that technology should support a business not be the core. In fact I type this after just buying a brand new computer, transferred all my data and software onto it only to find that word take an age to load and excel doesnt seem to want to load at all. After reading some of the manuals for pre installed stuff it seemed to suggest that a possible cause was Norton antivirus so having found out how to remove it I'm still having problems.

God why do they insist on preloading software on computers!!!

Sometimes technology people do things without consulting end-users. When I buy a new computer - I format the hardware and install my own software - it might take 2 hours - but I believe its 2 hours well spent.
