There are so many B2B companies claiming that they can help you easily import directly from Chinese manufacturers at low prices. I browsed a bunch of such websites, and found a number of issues:
1. There are so many suppliers providing the same or similar products. How can I know which supplier is reliable and reputable? I spent a lot of time on comparing them, but still don’t know which supplier I should go for. What worried me most is I do not feel comfortable with any of them because I know nothing about them. How can I ensure that I will get quality products after I make the payment? I am thinking, I may not get anything after I make the payment. If such a thing happens, how can I get my money back since they are far away in China?
2. I tried contacting some Chinese manufacturers, but they refused to give me a quotation saying that my order quantity did not meet their minimum order quantity (MOQ). Gee, as a small retailer, why should I order 1000 items while I usually stock 20?
3. Even if the manufacturer agrees to export to me at a higher price, I still have to deal with a number of import issues. I have no clue how to import!
4. They asked me they only accept wire transfer, and would not accept credit cards, paypal, money order or company check. I even don’t know how to make a wire transfer to a foreign country, not to mention the costs!

I really want to lower my purchasing costs and gain a competitive edge in this bad economy. Is there anyone that knows how I can buy from Chinese manufacturers safely and easily? Thanks so much in advance.

What you are best off doing is using escrow and employing an independent quality assessment company in China to verify the products before shipping. This is the only way to safeguard your purchases effectively.

Hope this helps
