Hi,
I have just finished my website and online shop. My online shop is linked to paypal however I am unable to test the shop fully as I can't seem to use paypal as a buyer (I only have one card and therefore can't create more than one Paypal account).
Anyway. I want to be satisfied that I can refund (either partly or fully) a transaction after it has completed. Is there something I can do ?

I'd be happy to test the refund system for you, for a low-value item. :)
I went to buy some earings () but I've identified a possible barrier to people buying from you; in that you require people to sign up to an account. A lot of people simply want to order their stuff, use the PayPal API and move on (without spending a while entering all their details).
Still happy to test for you though. Let me know. :)

You are very right about the paypal observation. Why is it like that, and not like other sites where you don't require a paypal account to purchase.
Its a very nice offer about the purchase, but I would rather have the ability to test the transactions myself, or is that impossible ?
Thanks
Mick

No problem. :)
Why not set up another PayPal account, whack some money over from your existing one, then use the new one to test it. :)

Or can't you just test the purchase and don't complete the transaction? We do it quite often when we see 'failed orders' to check everything is working correctly...If you get through to payment pages, everything should be ok?

you can always use the paypal sandbox for the development purposes and testing.
https://developer.paypal.com/
Now depending what paypal spec/mod you use, they offer different options.
