Hi

I am the UK partner for Oddcast

www.sitepal.co.uk

I am planing on launching a UK version of the sitepal website. The .com website is aim more at the US market.

Would it be a mistake if i changed the look of the current site?

Should i keep the same look but add UK voices, prices etc?

Welcome your honest feedback

Thanks

Tony

In my opinion you should keep the same style as it shows you are part of a larger group which adds credibility. Just lose the Americanism's and accents and add £'s instead of $'s

That voice is alot better.

As for Americanism's, I really meant the spelling of words such as "color" etc should be checked.

What about a UK range of charactors such as a butler, maid etc. (ie charactors based on Upstairs Downstairs, Monoch of the Glen if you get what I mean)

Though IMO it reminds me too much of Miss Boo ...

Good luck with it.

As a Brit who has lived for almost 20 years in the US, I can tell you that there's much more to it than simply spelling. You need to check UK rules for grammar and cut out American turns of phrase.

It will be worth it, though. Attention to detail counts for a lot. You might even hit a home run (or is that hit the jackpot?).
