New host - do I need to migrate domain name?

Hello people,

I want to use a new host for a new website but keep the domain name parked with my current host.

Is there any issue in doing this regards search engines etc?

And why do I want to keep my domain name with my current host? Just out of convenience as I have several domain names with them and if the new host turns out to be useless I can always move to another without transferring hassles.

It won't make any difference if the domain registration is with a different company to your web host. You just need to ensure that the name servers fr the domain are pointing to the right place :)
