Can anyone help? I have a product that I will be exporting to the USA, however it needs an electrical fan and thermostat installing, I have spoken to my UK electrician and he tells me that the person needs to be a USA electrician, does anyone know how I can do this?

I am looknig to ship the units to the USA, then the units can go to a storage unit and the electrican can do his thing, then the unit can be shipped on to the customer.

Does that sound OK??

You need to be a little careful about this because (i) all electrical products in the US must meet certain standards; (ii) being a litigious group, one small incident and someone could sue you for millions. If an electrician adds components to an electrical device on your behalf, who would be liable for damages and for compliance? (Hint: you would be.)

Where do you plan to store these devices? It makes sense to find someone local to that area. Maybe find a company that builds similar devices so they could be your local customisation group and possibly also a distributor.
