Bad HTML behind it all :-(

But that aside a few quick pointers...

Are you legit or not? Google ad's, pop-up's etc. on a commercial site tends to stick in my mind as "chancer", there is little chance I would do any business with them. If you trust your product, sell that not google.

It's a new concept which is difficult to get across and in your tour section you've tried to do that. The trouble is that it's too much text on one page. Try splitting your sections into different pages, try to be gentle with your potential clients.

The pics on the main page could be a bit higher resolution, I know it may take slightly longer to load but they are all pixelated justnow which doesnt look very nice.

The layout is not bad though

Always a problem with a new concept. Having to educate your users wht your about as well as trying to sell to them. Thats the advantage of 'second mover', at least you have some points of reference you can draw on, even EBay and Amazon wern't the first in their fields, just(inj the case of ebay) had the better business models and no overheads.

Far far to much text.

Get my attention
Tell me a little bit more
Then justify what you are saying, references, accreditations, how long you have been going etc.
Then get me to call/ enquire.

Thank you for all of your comments. I will take them on board and try to make some changes inline with what you have mentioned.

P.S The site is legit, I just placed ads to fill up the white space a bit and generate some income to help with the sites marketing costs. I understand what you are saying though so thank you for pointing it out.

Hi Simon. I'd get rid of the logo to be honest. I don't think eidos would be happy.

Fine on a non-commercial or 'fan site' but eidos' lawyers would probably haul you over the coals for use on a commercial site.

Just covering your back :)

Agree with the too much text comments, list bullet points and have a "read more" link, this done right should get the readers attention and make them want to read more. The images are awful, images that size should be very clear and still load quite quickly.

I'm working on an alternative layout to take on board what you and the rest have said. Also looking for better quality images. Any suggestions on where to find some? Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

For a first site, I'd say that visually it is bloody good.

Eaqle -- you've got eyes like a hawk, let alone an eagle :)

You have the most amazing visual recall for reproduced graphics. I'm deeply impressed!

Heheh, I had to get help from colleagues in order to identify it - but I knew it was an already established design. :)

From a casual glance at your site, I have several comments.

- As others have mentioned, there are far too many words on the home page. What is the essence of your message? State it in 20 words or less and make it a banner headline on the home page. Cut the number of words in half, at least.

- Your sentences are much too long. The first sentence alone contains 42 words, and there is not a comma in sight. As I wrote in a message a couple of weeks ago, it's easier for readers to perform a series of sprints than to run a marathon.

- On average, I found about two grammatical errors per sentence. For a site like this, you need to ooze professionalism.

- In general, it's not a good idea to include personal information on a website. If you must, don't make it the first item on the home page.

- You have confused the use of 'which' versus 'that'.

- The overuse of superlatives undermines your credibility: very, huge, millions, so much, the greatest, etc.

- You need some graphics on your learn more page. It's like reading a legal document; not many visitors are likely to take the time.

I hope you find these comments helpful.

Been a while since I last came here but I found all of your comments very useful and I am now in the process of changing my website again now that it has become more established.

I am thinking of moving over to a more professional looking website template. Does anyone have any views or comments, or even suggestions on using these?
