Advice in starting a new online business.

I am trying to launch my business as a Freelance artist . Since I am hearing a lot of stuff about recession and all, I was just wondering whether it is the right time to start up a business. :|
What do you business people thinks?

What are your options? Would you leave a full-time job to start in business?

Nop. I am currently unemployed and looking for work.

Would you need to invest money to start the business?

No - just time :( ... I have my work station - I guess I will have to register the business pay taxes etc - but else I have everything set.

Well spend the time you have on setting up a business, then! You don't really have to register until you find clients and get your first orders, AFAIK.You can still answer recruiters' calls.
