Hi
I am wanting to sell tickets to a small fund raising event off my blog. I was going to just set up a paypal 'buy now' thing which would be simple, but I wondered if there is any free system available that let's you create a very simple 'buy now' shopping option but that then also sends an automated e-ticket to the buyer.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I think the guys at Banilla could easily sort you something for a small fee. They did our site and did us a great deal based upon having advertising space until we get going.

Hello PRMum,
The Shop Integrator ecommerce service (http://www.shopintegrator.com/) will give you what you are after. The ability to create your fund raising ticket as a product in the system, use copy and paste to place an Add to Basket ecommerce plug-in (http://www.shopintegrator.com/demos/demos.html)on to your blog page and have your purchaser's payments go straight in to your PayPal account.
The product stock quantity control (http://www.shopintegrator.com/feature/product-controls.html) feature means you will be able to set the number of available tickets as the quantity of the product so as tickets are sold, Shop Integrator will decrease the quantity of tickets available until it is sold out and doesn't allow any more tickets to be sold.
You may also use the Shop Integrator ecommerce service to sell electronic content (i.e. any files) (http://www.shopintegrator.com/feature/customer-download-portal.html). What this means is that you will be able to upload your e-ticket (assuming that it is common e-ticket file, e.g. word document, pdf or image etc. that all people will be receiving once they have purchased a ticket to the fund raiser, rather than a unique file with a unique number on for each purchase?)
Upon successfully paying you for their ticket, your customer will then receive an email from the Shop Integrator service with a link which directs them to your Shop Integrator account's customer file download portal (http://www.shopintegrator.com/feature/customer-download-portal.html)where they will be able download the e-ticket file you attached to the product.
The Shop Integrator service is normally a paid for service, but as this is a short term requirement on your part and it is for a charity fund raising event, I'll be happy to let you use it for free for the purpose of selling tickets to your fund raiser from your blog.
Please visit our website and register for the 30 day free trial (http://www.shopintegrator.com/freetrial/free-trial.html) to be up and running straight away.
Best wishes,
Shop Integrator

Thanks Bizbook and thanks Shopintegrator. That sounds like a great solution. Will take a look and attempt to do it!
