We are a family run mailing house, which has been established for over 25 years and based in Cramlington.

We are offering to send each standard letter for only 24p per item! Which is 6p per item cheaper than Royal Mails standard second class delivery service with the added extra of us coming to you to collect it. Ideal for your daily letters and end of month accounts/invoicing!

The service we offer is covered by exactly the same measures as Royal Mail.

Even if you are franking your mail, There will be manufacturer or supplier costs to rent, lease or buy a franking machine, and you will need to pay inspection and maintenance charges and buy consumables such as ink.
On average the use of a franking machine will cost around £200 – £300 per year and you are still paying 25p per item posted. Where as we will come and collect your mail and deliver it for 24p which, dependant on the amount of mail you send is a massive annual saving!

Even if you’re using Royal Mails Smartstamp application you are still paying 30p aswell as your monthly subscription cost!

We also collect you large letters, packets/parcels for a greatly reduced cost compared with Royal Mail and you still receive the same cover from us.

Since the deregulation of Royal Mail it is now possible to send your mail via different companies.

Since we are OGC registered (an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce in the Treasury) we can now collect your mail, consolidate and delivery it cheaper than Royal Mail.

Welcome to the forums. :)

How does this work? How are you able to offer a price that's lower than the PO's rate? Is this one of the benefits of deregulation? If so, what a shame this never happened years ago!

You mention you're based in Cramlington. What's your catchment area? How far are you willing to travel to pick up mail - and does it depend on the amount of mail?

All the best with your business, and I look forward to learning from your experiences.

With this being a new venture we are trying to keep our catchment area as tight as possible as you can understand but as business escalates we have decided from Berwick-upon-Tweed and York as our catchment area. Because we are a mailing house we can sort and collect and consolidate mail inhouse so this keeps our costs down. Our 2nd class service basically is 6p per normal/standard letter cheaper than RM!!!

Ideally the more mail the better for us as it would be pointless travelling all over for a few letters here and there but we have gain a few large contracts from clients that are mailing anywhere from 50 daily to 2500 a month!

Hope this helps but if you need anymore info just let me know.

Scott

How do you reach potential customers with your message?

The idea of putting a short message on here is to give potential clients the opportunity to see our service.

Alot of the work i do is 'behind the scenes' so to speak. Trawling through the internet and such like.

If you would like to have a chat regarding our service we offer please just give me a ring on: 08700 10 2000

Welcome Scott, Thinks its a good business and to be honest has opened my eyes. knew there was the greater use of other providers such as UPS since deregulation but wasn't aware smaller business' also did this. Its a pleasure to see a family ran business doing well.

Welcome,

I would be interested in learning more about your service. Generally we have minimal postage with occasional post out up to 300 letters at a time. However, we are based in a business centre with several other business around us who would be interested in reducing their posting costs. We are approx 10 mins away from cramlington.

Please pm me.
