A monthly subscription which allows you to attend up to 2 networking events each week without any further costs.

What would be a reasonable price for that?

Lets assume for arguments sake that they are good quality events.

Thanks

So many factors that would come into this tbh..

Layout of the meetings?
Where are the meetings?
Attendees of the meeting? (i.e numbers going)
Travel time?

I'd say on a monthly basis you could charger anywhere between

80-120 quid - if you are not to charge anything else thereafter, as there a lot of networking events out there where you have to pay a tenner to attend after the initial cost, £10 x 2(a week) x 4(a month) x 12(a year) = £960 / 12 = £80 + the initial cost involved so yeah £80-120 would be fair i guess.

Thanks Otis.

I understand there are plenty of factors. But just for the purposes of this, lets assume that the location and attendees suit what you are looking for.

many thanks

Okay well if there were no other costs, and if i were to attend 2 meetings every week for the whole year, with the ability to make it to 3-4-5 different groups in my area to meet different people on the circuit, anywhere between £80-120 a month is reasonably fair, probably towards the higher end of that.

What's your idea? I mean you could charge a yearly amount with a small charge per breakfast/lunch/evening they attend? Or would you rather just the bigger cost initialy with no other costs involved?

There are lot's of networking events out there, b2b, 4n, bni ect - might be worth you taking a look at those to get an idea for costs/layouts =)

p.s normaly the small charge is to pay for things like breakfast + location, so out of that monthly charge you would have to take into account these costs..

Would the two events be really different? With different people at each? We've paid between 0-£60 for a one off event, if that helps? The free event being more beneficial for us.

We prefer a pay-as-you-go system. We wouldn't want to commit to paying a set fee, as we might not always be able to go or need to go. Saying that I do think a lot of businesses would like that idea...just not sure of what they would be happy to pay £30-£50?? But I am not expert on networking events!

I agree with Pauline. I wouldn't commit to an ongoing fee because I want to decide if and when I go to an event. There are a lot of cheap/ free events around in any case.

The only way you could make this sort of pricing model work would be to compete against the likes of BNI, who charge substantial subscription fees and try to ensure their members get their ROI by requiring regular attendance and regular exchanges of leads.

No I appreciate it wouldn't be for everyone. Just trying to establish a fair price at the minute.

Thanks

First you need to establish if the market will go for it.
