Hi all!
I am in the middle of creating a website which once launched I expect at least 100 visitors a day to come to the website, the visitors are looking at 1 specific thing and the advertisers would be selected so the online service they offer (e.g hosting or design services) would be of interest to the visitors. (I would hope to get companies that specialise within this certain thing)
The visitor number is no more than guess work and I expect it to be higher and eventually reaching 1000+ visitors a day, I would estimate 6-8 months to get within the search engines and also to advertise via a selected forum.
The question is what is the current rate advertisers pay for a banner to be added on a website? Is it done on impressions? (for example 10,000 impressions for £X) Most banners I would think will be 120 x 60 pixels.
Also how much do people pay to have an advert within a newsletter? This I don't think we will do because of the nature of the website the visitors don't have much reason to sign up to a newsletter!
Thanks in advance!
