Hi everyone

Would you be willing to give up a little bit of time to take part in some research?

If you are running an online shop using Actinic, EKM, OS Commerce, Magento or similar then I would love to hear from you.

I'm doing an Msc course at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland and I am looking for ecommerce owner-managers to interview for my dissertation.

The research will look at the theories around entrepreneurs and marketing and examine how these work in the real world and in particular how they apply to owner-managers of small ecommerce businesses.

It will involve a simple 30 minute interview by telephone. The information you give will be kept confidential by disguising anything that will identify you in the results which will eventually be published in the Uni library.

I'd be very grateful if anyone would be willing to help me with this and I'll send anyone who does, a copy of the finished research which I hope will be of interest.

We don't use any of these packages - we wrote our own - any use to you?

Yes that would be great, I'd love to have you involved - not least because I'm due to do a blackbelt in shotokan karate at the end of the year! I will send you a pm with my contact details.

Hi Kate

Thanks for your time and contribution to the research it was exactly what I'm after. I'll definitely be in touch for some new karate kit, its my birthday soon so I might treat myself.

I'd still like to interview some other ecommerce businesss owners, so if you would be willing to spare a little time for a telephone interview then please get in touch.
