That thinks these numerous "view my website / review my website"
Should be in the IT/Internet section instead of clogging up the general area?

I, personally, agree with you.
This section is for communicating about business, and there's no time to review everybody's websites.

There seems to have been a flood of them over the last while - I'll move them now and have a general spring clean ;)

There seems to be almost enough to make it worthwhile having a website review forum.......

There seems to be almost enough to make it worthwhile having a website review forum.......I agree. A sub-forum (if enabled on this site) or another forum specifically for this would be better I feel.

Be realistic.
Are these genuine requests for help and feedback about someone's website?
It's just yet another way to do more self-promotion which is spoiling this otherwise great forum.
Aren't you getting tired of it?

I like forums that have a system like this, have a "website critic" forum, have a "offers and requests" forum, and in all other forums a no self promotion rule applies (with the exception of signatures)

Aren't you getting tired of it?Another good reason for putting them in their own section as they will only be read by people who are willing to review websites so defeating self promotion.
