We have ebay shops in the uk and america we have pulled all our general listings and only work through the shop. The weekly fees ahve gone down in the UK from 23.68 per week to 4.68 per week and sales have kept the same.

We do have a niche product tho.

I have one and although the fees aren't cheap for low value items, most of my sales are high(ish) price and very good margin so it's reasonably priced for me.

It has other benefits as a marketing tool if you make it work for you and for that it is very good value.

I too have a uk ebay shop and at present they charge £14.99 for a basic shop plus listing fees of £0.20 and fvf. Therefore I have decided to open my own auction site letsgobid to avoid all of these fees.

i think so,if your prodcuts are not high value, add your ebay and freight costs, your price are inevitablly very high to customers.

We have one of the £50 per month shops and then pay 5p per item to list, works out cheaper in fees now than it did 24 months ago and we get more visability with our items
