Hi I am Natasha from Alfa
I just started a new limited company in London, I have insurance, bank account, vat etc.
The company does commercial, industrial, leisure and retail cleaning.
I have an advert in google search engine,
I have been walking the streets giving out business letters and business cards,
I am doing the best I can with the limited money I have from my private job.
but I haven't any contracts yet...
I really need help from everybody willing to help me...
Please, if you need a cleaning company, or if you are a cleaning company with contracts that you are not interested in, please contacte me.
Thank you very much in advance
Christine

Natasha
Are you any good on the phone?
The reason I say this is that you can build a pipeline of opportunities yourself. Calling local business's and making them aware of your services.
Not only can you pick up work that way but for those who say" We are already unders contract" ask them when that contract is due for review, the idea being that over a periood of time you will build a list of companies that will need to look for people like you, does that make sense?
If not call me or PM me.

Hi Natasha,
With respect to the mutitude of telemarketing and call centre personnel, I feel the public is over inundated with with cold canvassing over the phone.
I believe, based upon experience, you would achieve far greater results by actually calling upon businesses in person and asking to speak to the person in charge of cleaning/maintenance. You have no target market in the street.
Now I know some will say, quite correctly, that this is cold canvassing too, but here there is the opportunity of speaking to the appropriate person, winning the 'first impression' rules, and also theopportunity of LEAVING appropriate literature within the company.
I also wonder if it is not better to commence in 'smaller' areas first, to 'test the waters' so to speak.
Cheers, Nigel

Hi Nat,
Couldn't work out if you're in London City or surrounding area, but rather target large corporations, start with smaller businesses; perhaps do the rounds of a couple of industrial estates near you.
You will get results, obviously, the sooner the better. Just remember: the more people you see, the more chance you've got of getting your first deal. Later on it just flows in from referrals! If you were in the Midlands, I'd see you right now. Woops, you might take that the wrong way - I mean in the morning!
Cheers, Nigel
