Sorry hope I have not put this in the wrong place.

Im trying to get a rough idea of a courier price, but I have no idea of weight, its a hard drive, 19 inch flat/thin screen monitor and a box, but not having them here I dont know how much they way.

With us it will be around £12plus VAT. Depends on the actual dimensions. Our prices are a consignment price, so if the three boxes weigh up to 20kg, then you'd pay the same price as you would for one parcel.

We are not the cheapest because we use the more reliable carriers, and only offer a next working day delivery service. (if you book by 10am then collection is normally same day).

The cheapest service will always be the DHL Economy Service, through a parcel reseller such as Interlink, or Parcel2go. And delivery is 2-5 working days from collection.

If the monitor is glass then one thing I will say though, is that Glass is only insured by parcel carriers when you operate an account, and you've had your packaging pre-inspected and approved. Resellers such as Interparcel, Parcel2go, and even CCL, will not insure glass on standard terms on a pay as you go parcel service.

Are you sending the monitor in the original manufacturers boxing/packaging? If so, then you should be OK, because the polysterene moulding is designed so that the box can take impact and the monitor itself not be touched. Bubble wrap around a monitor does not perform the same function.

Many of our customers send flat screens and laptops using our services.
I cannot emphasize enough that packing it securely is the key to a happy delivery. Do bear in mind whichever courier company you use your parcel will be handled by up to 7 different people and travel through a conveyor belt. We advise our clients to enclose your monitor in polystyrene chips or if you can find them sheets and then when finished wrap it in the thick bubble wrap a couple of times. It might cost a bit extra but worth it in the long run.
We can deliver your parcel in the UK on a next day service from £7.99 plus VAT. We use UPS as our main carrier and they are very good. You can also insure your parcel for peace of mind.
