updating profile to change username

Does anyone know if it's possible to update your profile here to change your username? I know it's an option within phpBB and it seems to be enabled on here but whenever I try it doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong?

'deej' is the name i use on a lot of forums but i'd prefer to change it to my real name here as it's a bit more professional than using a 'nom de wire'.

You have to ask the administrator to change your nickname. I have done this in the past.
