Advice on suppliers

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and have been reading over some of the posts over the last couple of days and I must say I was very impressed by the level of help/advice provided.

I have just taken up the position of Researcher/Buyer in my new job and am currently on the hunt for suppliers/wholesalers that provide a dropship service - I did post a day or two ago but recieved nil replies, not even a hello :cry:

However i wont let that deter me :) i have exhausted most resources - namely www.wholesalepages.co.uk and www.thewholesaler.co.uk and also other searching through google, overture etc.

Can anyone provide some advice on how to gain quality suppliers on board as we still have loads of domains to be done and dusted over the next 2 months.

Thought I would start with that!!!

What kind of products are you looking for wholesalers for? (if that makes sense!!!)

If we had more of an idea of the products then some of us may be able to help.

Haha - yeah that would help !

You may think this is overly ambitious but we have a massive portfolio of domains which cover literally thousands upon thousands of products.

I currently have suppliers in the DVD/CD/Gaming, Mobiles, Toys, Lingerie, Health and Fashion sectors and I am currently developing the entertainment domain with a view to gaining suppliers in the electronic and gadgets sectors.

We literally have that many products to go for that any suggestions you can put forward would be greatly appreciated !

If you are looking at fashion Accessories. I might be able to help. I have recently started Importing fashion accessories from india. Things like beaded wirst bands and necklaces. these things are very much in fashion these days and if you go to a place like Burton, you will see them selling in the range of 4 - 8 pounds. I can provide the same products in the range of 1.30 - 3 Pounds Range. If this interests you, please let me know.
