Hi,

Ive been looking for MP3 player that can:
Mix songs (eg - the new 1 kick in x number of seconds before the previous songs finishes)
Can play all music at the same level. Depending on the type of music and sometimes the CD that it was converted from it seems to play some songs louder than others.

Can anyone reccomend anything? I can find media players that do 1 or the other but not both. Also im after something for free preferably as all the ones you pay for (PC DJ for example) are too technical for the person who will be using it.

Cheers
Tony

Hi

I was going to recommend PC DJ, its the only app I am aware of that can do this :(

Not to sure if Itunes can do, i don't think it can, I haven't seen the option :(

Itunes can to a degree, it seems the best free option so far. The only problem with it is that rather than blend the songs, it just stops x number of seconds early and starts the next.

It also means you have to port all your music into it which im not a big fan of.

cheers cyber, its looking pretty technical and i already have PCDJ so i would probably just carry on using that rather than buying something new.

I might see what add ons there are for media player or just install itunes as i think that is what she will end up using.

Bloody women!!

http://www.otsturntables.com/ - Thats looking pretty good. 1 playlist box drag it all in there. It doesnt look AS complicated as PCDJ although $30 seems pretty decent. Although if anyone finds anything for free i would probably prefer that :)

Why not use Winamp? Excellent player, does all that and more!

We also have our own SUI engine (for SUI fans ;) ) over at SkinConsortium (http://www.skinconsortium.com)called cPro which has loads of skins at both SC and over at the winamp skins section
