Does anyone know how much it would cost me to insure a van for deliveries and removals. I know I should go to insurance website, but I was wondering if anyone had insured a van for this purpose and how much it cost them (I just need an approximation to go on). Any good insurance website where I could get an online quote would be good as well.

Thanks

Iain.

I use to work in classic car and commercial insurance, it depends on several factors, vehicle value, vehicle category, what you are delivering eg, chemicals, parcels etc although you would be surprised delivering paper would be categorised as high risk as it is highly flammable other factors like where your deliveries take place, age of driver (try to make it 25 years +) with named drivers rather than any driver which makes your premium rocket

I would start at www.confused.com and choose other products, then choose van insurance to get a quote form the majority of the uk market - good luck, shout if you need some tips to get the cost down
