I would lose the intro page, if I have arrived at your site it is because I want to, so I don't want to click another button just to get in.

You should put a couple of pics of the bags on the 1st page, took a couple more clicks before I realised what type of bag you were selling.

Also, when clicking on a "group" picture and it gets enlarged on the page where I can add to basket, I have to scroll down to see the button to buy it, could easily be missed.

You say you are a legally registered business but I cannot see any address (exept on the page where you tell people how to make returns), which you should have as I would like to know where I am sending money to :)

The buttons and logo could be a bit smoother, the button text being blurred could make it difficult for some people to read easily.

I'm also not a big fan of the standard table border, you might try playing with colours to seperate the tables, especially as you are selling colourful items.

Some of your pages do not have page titles.

Hope thats not too much ! Hate to offend a fellow Geordie ;)

I like the first page as well. Im no site designer but my first impression was the writing on the menu on the home page is a little unclear and would be better with a sharper font.

Centred text is not ideal - most people reading English learned to read left to right.

The splash screen is unnecessary and will lead to people turning away from your site early.

The home page is rather waffly and should be replaced with a beautiful image of your best selling bag with some excellent copy along the lines of 'Exquisite hand silk embrodered bags from Vietnam for any occaision'

There is not enough info on each bag. Without dimensions a legitamate worry would be that £35 is a lot to pay for a 5x5 inch bag.
There is no decription of any lining or pockets.

The prices are not clearly displayed - you have to dig too deep to access them. Ditto shipping which is not clearly displayed with the product (and if I may say, seems rather expensive for Royal Mail first class delivery on more than one item)

The contact info is too sparse - no address to instill confidence. Also need one for the distance selling act.

The overall look of the site is not really quite professional.

The resizing is good as is the text resizing.

Visited links should colour so you know where you have been.

You have alt text on the side menu but it could elaborate a bit more about what you are likely to see when yo click the link.

You have no alt text on the images and should have the names of the bags and some key words in there to help search engines and text readers.

I like the nice big images but similar images of all the colour ways would be good - especially in a product chosen to go with outfits.

The products look great but the site doesn't quite 'sell' them to me.

I agree with the above comments on loosing the splash page and revising the long text on the home page. I'll just add that I'd need to see the kind of closure on the bags, and the lining. A shot looking inside each the bag would be helpful, showing if it closes with a press stud or a zip. You could set this up so that the image changes to the inside view when you roll over it with the mouse.

Best of luck with your business.

Hello all

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks to all for your feedback and the time you all spent in replying. It doesn't matter how hard you look at your own website other people see different things. We will certainly be altering things based on the feedback and we're pleased everyone seemed to like the product!

VSHosting, I think you know we would not be easily offended!

Thanks again to everyone.
