I was made redundant in February and I am thinking of starting my business (otherwise I wouldn't be on here! :D)

I have a BSc in psychology and statistics and an MA in Applied, Social and Market Research. I haven't really managed to get anywhere since I did my MA. I had thought about starting a business a couple of years ago and now I am returning to whether it might be viable.

I feel I have a gap in the market but I am not sure whether there is a market in the gap.

Starting a business can be tough at the best of times and with the current climate it is a little harder . . . but not impossible. All I would say is do your research and plan well then if you find the market, give it everything you've got!
