Consultant networking

I am thinking of setting up a database of consultants, the services they provide, and what areas they trade in.

This would allow any member of the network to refer clients to a consultant meeting their needs in their area.

Any interest?

Sounds like a worthwhile idea, however I'm not sure how many members of this forum would classify themselves as consultants.

Network design, builds, configuration and troubleshooting

Wireless networking?

Any other services?

I would think about signing up for something like this but I would need to know how you plan to connect employers to consultants as I like to sound out a company before they are on the phone asking me to work for them :)

How would you suggest we connect employers to consultants?

The current plan is to have an online database of consultants that potential clients can search. This way a client can find a consultant in their area providing the services they require.
