Hi all,
this isn't the first time I have posted my introduction but since part of my site has just gone live I thought a re-introduction would be good.
I own Simply Rugby Ltd - the first part of our site to go live is a rugby fantasy game for the Guinness Premiership and Celtic League. If you know about fantasy rugby then I hope you find this measures up, if you don't go and have a look, you can find it at www.fantasy-rugby.co.uk.
Any feedback is much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Mark

Unusual, but nice! :)
Good to see a site which works in an 800x600 browser window too! Looks promising.
Mark :)

Only just! Nothing to be overly concerned about on that one - just a few pixels too big. :)

Thanks, is that because of a scrol bar?

Possibly - I usually go for no more than 740 pixels wide. But that's just me. Best speak to a web designer...

I was thinking that this fits in nicely with my rugby forum. Then I saw the charge :(
As my forum is not for profit I am not so sure about recommending your site. Shame! I have been wanting to get a fantasy rugby script going for a while now .

thanks for all the feedback - we were having a problem with people registering and not paying and thanks to your comments I now think this is because the price is not shown on the home page - It is now included and our conversion rate is going up.
Old welsh guy unfortunatly there is a lot of work to maintain the scores each week as well as cost of prizes so we have to charge a joining fee.
What was the price charged................

£5 which I think is very good for the prizes and a whole season game - many fantasy football games are more

Mark :)I think you are way too obsessed with this Eagle. Whilst, as I have said before, I like your site it does not flow so if I choose to make my browser smaller than the table width you have chosen to impose on me I have to scroll and your site uses old style heavy markup and is not that great on accesibility. AND I provided you with recommendations (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=17301#17301) , as have others, on learning CSS as requested but you did not say "thank you" [yet] :-)
Stuart
ps I am in danger of asking you to design a logo for me so be nice; I am really s*t at logos

Heheh, lol. Sorry Stuart, that one slipped under the radar. Yes, thanks for the advice and links. Just haven't had time to look them over yet (I'm that busy!) :)
