Has anyone had taxi receipts printed before or know how much this sort of thing costs?

Can't a "normal" printing company does this for you or is there something special about them that I am not realising?

I've worked in a taxi office before and the receipts are usually just a business card with price details on the reverse to be filled in by the driver.

I would think they cost roughly the same as a business card with printing on both sides.

Normally they are like little books held together on one side by glue, so the cab drivers just write on a receipt and then pull it off the pad. I don't think they would accept separate receipts as they wouldn't be as easy to use.

I can't find a normal printer who can make these little 'books'. These are for black cabs, not taxis, and they only use these books, as far as I have been told.

What about a duplicate book with carbon paper in it, wouldn't that be similar? :D

No, not like a duplicate book. When I said 'book', maybe I should have said 'notepad'?

You know, like a little notepad of paper on the front of each page would be the receipt, i.e. To, From, Date, Total and then on the back would be my advert.

Taxi drivers have to buy these this receipt pads and I would like to look at the cost of printing them myself and giving them away for their use, as the receipts would be seen many times, including when they are processed for expenses.
