As anyone would know from reading some of my posts I'm looking to establish a partner network of web designers and programmers for our CMS. Various messages have gone out and we're getting traffic through to the site, but the enquiry uptake has been rather slight.
I'm trying to play devils advocate and thinking why we're not getting a greater enquiry level. So far I'm aware that some of the content on the site needs to be revisited. That aside can anyone suggest any further reasons I might be able to amend?

Tell us more about what this partner network is.

Is that a request or a suggestion?
As for talking about it on the site I'd have to be careful. I can't see partners being very happy about the publication of discount levels etc.

Okay, more partner info put up - anything else?

Perhaps http://www.opensourcecms.com/ might help explain why your uptake levels aren't as good as you'd hope?

Obviously I am aware of open source solutions, but you must know the phrase. Open source software is only free if you don't value your time.

Well, perhaps you might like to mention that becoming a partner of yours is cost free (many 'partner' schemes incur a charge at some level). I'm assuming it isn't chargeable?
Personally, I'd also be tempted to ask partners for their portfolio sites after they have initially contacted you, thereby simplifying your registration form a little.
Do you have an idea how many people are looking at the "how to become a partner" page?
Best wishes,
Steve
