Little bit of advice please....When creating purchase invoices I noticed that the VAT was not the same in Solar Accounts as that on the invoice.
The problem is that some of our invoices contain items that are zero VAT rated.
So how would you handle those....Do I have to go through every invoice and separate the zero vat items and then create a new invoice for these in solar

Have you sent an email to Mark McLaren (?) via the web site?
When ever i have had a problem / query i send it in via their web site and i have always had a really quick reply - normally same day but always within 24 hours.
Regards
Alan

i dont think their 'forum' is operated in the same way as, for example, this forum in that they dont appear immediately.
Alternatively if you go to their 'Contact Us' page and submit your query, it may get seen quicker.

You can do 2 lines on the invoice.
Line 1 showing 15% rate
Line 2 showing 0% rate
The VAT totals and gross totals should now be correct.
You can do this on the same invoice, and this is what you'd normally do in any accounting package.

No worries.
No need to be embarassed, if you don't know, you don't know! :)
Changing a wheel on a car is pretty simple. Until I'd been shown what to do, though, it may as well have been rocket science ;)

beadell,
Apologies, i mis-understood your question. i thought you meant that all was well within Solar but that the values shown on the printed invoice were 'different / corrupted' in some way.
Glad you got it sorted.
