Hi Everyone,

I hate my corporate 9 - 5 job. So that's why a few month ago I started looking into starting my internet business. I think it really allows me to earn a salary in the comfort of my own home.

But of couse, there are still much to learn and much to improve on.
I look at this forum for inspiration on fullfilling specific niche. Does anyone agree with me to this question. I had a debate about this with my close friends.

Q: Starting an Internet Business is the most fastest way to make money?

I hope to hear what you all think.

Take care everyone and we'll talk later.

Regards,

Alan

Welcome Alan,

well I've seen one or two people make a fast buck but - actually the majority I've seen take 2 to 3 years.

From what I have seen the faster bucks seem to be made by rather shadey business idea's. It may be harder work but I prefer the 2+ years work to get where you want to be. :)

Welcome by the way!

Hi Alan,

Please don't get caught in the trap of "make a million overnight"

Internet based businesses are a way to generate a substantial income, but not overnight. I would say 2 to 3 years, but spending that amount of time to generate an income in excess of £50k per month is worth the effort, don't you think?

A lot depends on what you do, there’s one key question to ask first when appraising any business: What’s the market potential?

The market I am in is internet gambling, more secifically Lottery, the whole Internet gambling market (of which lotteries are part) is on a winning streak, you could say. Analysts project that annual revenue of $7.4 billion USD in 2004 will soar to $18.3 billion USD by 2010.

I won't pretend it's easy, it requires dedication and that applies to any online or indeed offline business.

Hi Alan

Welcome to the forum.

I've heard a lot of good things about Mark Joyner from a number of sources.

Do you know when Volume 2 was first published? Also, how many pages is it?

I believe the internet can be a very fast way to wealth as you have access to an worldwide market. However, you can also have worldwide competition.

If you can be uniquely advantageous and communicate that advantage to the marketplace, you can be looking at huge rewards.

One thing you have to watch out for when you're selling someone else's product is that there are others who'll sell the same thing for much less.

(particularly a high mark-up information product)

It may be that a site can attract a lot of traffic, have the best copy imaginable and get the reader excited about the ebook and ready to buy ... but then the reader can shop around for the same product, delivered the same way, but for a lower price and all the good work has gone to waste.

My expertise is "nonline marketing" (which is a phrase I may have just invented), so the internet experts may come on here and tell me that online shoppers don't tend to shop around for price on ebooks.

Personally, I don't know.
