Hello Everyone,

I want to start a racing circuit business for motorcycles or maybe even cars, nothing big but I want to do it cause I love seeing people in machines race against eachother. I want to do this in Canada cause thats where I live. One problem I have is I don't really know anything about the business of a racing circuit or how to run a business at that matter.

From the type of people I need around me and their roles. If I'm setting up a type of project or database the information I need to input and how to delegate those positions and scheduling and such.

Just would like some blueprint or some knowledge in which I can start off of and build on that.

Anyone with knowledge in racing circuit business and business in general please add your comments to this thread.

Thank You,

You could fund the purchase through property investors and business angels. But you need to have a great plan with a USP (unique selling proposition)

I don't know if there is any business advice service from your local council or enterprise council but you should go to them for advice. but you should be able to get something from the Canadian chamber of commerce. http://www.chamber.ca/article.asp?id=3

Motor racing isnt all about F1 and Daytona. You can race anything from cockroaches to lawnmowers, just think out side the box.
Hang around on Pistonheads forums for a while loads of info there.
Find out what grass roots motorsport are in your area.
Pick a sport that is not represented in your area.
Get a land owner to give you permission to race something.
You can make money from sponsorhip, charging burger vans etc for pitche's,
It can be done, but its hard, thats why it can be finacially rewarding.
