I have a website where customers register for a free weekly mail (Similar to Martin Lewis's Money Saving Mailer)
Problem is I just send this through out loot at the moment and I want to do automate the process.
I have a database of email address and a weekly letter I want to be sent which changes week by week, and was hoping there was something out there that was free of charge to use?

PHPList (http://www.phplist.com) is free. Requires some effort to set it up on your site though and to integrate with your system.
Be aware that sending emails to a mailing list from your own domain is risky.
Imagine that one of your competitors signs up for your newsletter (it's going to happen) and decides to report you for spamming (this happens too).
One of your readers is so impressed that they forward your newsletter onto someone who is not quite as impressed. That someone clicks the spam button on their email client.
Someone forgets that they asked for your newsletter and reports you for spamming.
You manage to annoy someone and they decide to report you for spamming.
Some poweful but unaccountable outfit like SpamCop is going to get hold of your ISP and your ISP is going to have a knee-jerk reaction and suspend your domain. It's like being accused of making rude movies with small children, just being accused automatically makes you guilty. You have to prove yourself innocent.
If you're making money off the site it's probably better to deal with a service like aweber.com or one of the others.
The above possiblities are based on real life experience (except for the kiddie movies bit)

You can use a software that i was using when i used to market a website...its bulk email sender or there are other more..dont buy, try the free version and send emails. Its better to use them for newsletters and also good for email marketing.
