Hope someone can help!
I am currently working as an AAT tutor but will be giving this up soon and eventually am hoping to become a self employed part time bookkeeper.
My problem is I have the knowledge and qualifications (AAT and IAB) but do not have practical experience as a bookkeeper for small business. Can anyone advise how I would get started - I am considering taking Payroll qualifications and contacting local bookkeepers to see if they can offer any work.
Has anybody got any advice for me?
