Mass mailer programs

I am looking at running some targeted email campaigns and require a decent but also low cost mass email program.

Can anyone recommend a program they use for this task?

I've seen lots of people use aweber (http://www.aweber.com/)and they all seem happy with it. It's used by many!

Mailchimp is really good....Been using them for a couple of years with no problems.

I quite like constant contact. Otherwise you might like a self-serve system like Debbidoo (on here) offers http://debbidoo.com/email-newsletters.html

Is this to your own opt-in list or are you going to be renting an opt-in list that doesn't know you?

I used to use get response. I found them to be great.

You can also do a mail merge with outlook.
