Anyone got an answer to this one. I placed up some buy it now items on ebay. Customer bought several but now wants to reduce the order by one.

I've already refunded the money for a single item but what about the final value fee to ebay - how do I get that reduced. Seems the only option in ebay is to either want it all back or none.

Any ideas on what I can do...or what I should do, folks? :)

There used to be an option in the dispute process that let you state that you'd agreed a lower quantity/price. And this reduced the fvf accordingly.

cancel the whole lot, get him to agree to it, and relist including a small re list fee, for hom messing you about, as a buy it now for one item.

You will get a full refund of your FVF

BootCamp is right, there's not many ways round it.

Have you asked on the ebay forum?

I'll try and cancel but I've dealt with this dude before and he's a bit of a twit. I'll see what happens.

Haven't asked on the ebay forum...but I'll have a shufty.

go into ebay, the drop down menu at the end mark it as payment not received, then go to the drop down list and at the bottom should be a report a dispute on this item or something similar select that and go through the screens.

What's the amount in question? Is it really worth the hassle?

Five million pounds. With fees at almost 10% of the price it does matter now.

Actually, I've sorted it now. He's cancelled the whole thing.

Ta everyone.
