Hi All,
My IT guy has just emailed me to warn of a Virus set to live on 1st April.
The worm is the newest variant of Conficker which will disable the security processes. Recommended to get an update from your virus protection software.

This virus has been out for a bit and microsoft release a security update MS08-067 a few months ago to help protect systems from the conficker virus. You can read more on this virus at the following URL

We must be safe our computer by using anti virus software through which our computer is secure.

the new version is conflicker C, it brought our server down yesterday, it brought 4 servers down at our hosts, its a bad lil blighter, the chinese.
we have blocked over 200 ips from china, they are extremely persistent, keep trying SQL and brute force attacks on my site

Just had another email from my IT guy, he has had a very convincing alert from McAfee with links to Microsoft and McAfee's websites. This was for downloading a patches and virus removal kits.
We he looked into the links in more detail and they go to unknown servers.... PLEASE BE CAREFUL, these look extremly legit.
